Cory
Cory Holl, a Bay Area native with a love for California lived-in hair. She began her journey at Cowboys and Angels SF where she learned from San Francisco's top Colorists and under the tutelage of Maverick House's Bobby Michael.
Being drawn to create unique looks that are both effortless and cool, Cory has quickly become one of the most sought after colorists of Northern California. She currently calls Pony Salon/Studios her hair home but joins us at Maverick House every month.
Being a child of the 90's, Cory will forever be inspired by Brit Pop hairstyles or yore and credits her first inspiration for all things style to Ginger Spice. In highschool she fell in love with doing hair in a kitchen with punk friends.
When Cory is not in the salon, she can be found watching movies about cults and cult movies. John Waters being her number one inspiration ALWAYS and FOREVER.

Topher Gross, is an award-winning international Platform Artist, Educator and Master Stylist celebrated for his effortless lived-in cuts and natural textured organic styles with dimension and movement.
A native New Yorker, Topher has always had his finger on the pulse of trends, innovations and classic glamour. With the 15+ years of experience, he has created styles that not only transcend but transform his clientele.
Trained by mentors from Aveda, Bumble & Bumble, Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon and ARROJO, Topher is the go-to for any cut or style imaginable. He is a precision razor and scissor cut specialist and is known for his curly, textured, layered and short cuts that are wearable, edgy and expertly tailored to each client’s style.
As a member of the Dress Code Project, Topher is proud to be a part of a global alliance of salons/stylists committed to providing positive, gender-affirming services for LGBTQ2S+ clients.
Topher began his career at ARROJO and quickly rose to the top of the stylist team, educating thousands of stylists and salon owners at hair shows each year in LA, Chicago, NYC, Orlando and Las Vegas. With a passion for education and his craft, Topher traveled to train cosmetology students, stylists in salon education programs and was a brand ambassador for ARROJO product lines.
Topher is inspired by fashion, technology, fashion, music, nightlife and nature. His work has been featured in teenVOGUE, Time Out NY, GQ Magazine, BUST, IntoTheGloss.com, InStyle, Bustle, BehindTheChair.com, DapperQ, and NYC fashion week.
Topher splits his time between New York at Maverick House and Amsterdam at HAIRXTOPHER, he also travels to clients in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
